Garlic and Herb Butter

Garlic and Herb Butter

Homemade garlic butter. Is there anything else so delicious but so easy to make?! This is a staple in our fridge at this time of year (bbq season) for all the veggies, meat and seafood being thrown on the grill. It's easy to make a few rolls to freeze or gift to your neighbours. We swap out the herbs depending what's on the menu for the week (we love a bit of dill on seafood).

Ingredients:

110gm Butter

3 Cloves of garlic

1 sp Rosemary

1 tsp Thyme

2 tbs Parsley

Method:

1) Soften the butter (15 seconds in the microwave)

2) Add the garlic and herbs

3) Mix through with a fork

4) Place on parchment paper and roll into a log. (for smaller portions halve the mix and roll into two logs.

5) Tightly twist the ends of the parchment.

6) Refrigerate for 2 hours before enjoying or put in the freezer to enjoy in a few weeks or months.

Make sure you have your organic tea towels near by to wipe up any mess, and for the complete look in the kitchen don’t forget your Kindor organic apron!
