Hawke's Bay

Off the beaten track, where the wind from the east greets the rolling terrain, and the pacific salt air embraces the vines, as they mature for harvest. Hawkes Bay, nestled on the east coast of the north island offers many things to locals and guests. For us here at Kindor, it was awe of all mother earth and nature has to offer that inspired our Hawkes Bay collection.

The Haumoana print was inspired by the flights of New Zealand native birds and bees attracted to citrus trees. The print is influenced by the art nouveau movement where many patterns are of tortuously curving flowers, roots, stems and branches.

The Havelock print was inspired by a garden full of citrus trees that attracted native birds and bees. The print is influenced by the art nouveau movement where many patterns are of tortuously curving flowers, roots, stems and branches.
